Team Training in Healthcare
The delivery of services in healthcare organizations is a collaborative task. Errors occur not just in the faulty actions of individuals: they occur just as much between the parts of the system. Turboteams has developed an innovative systems model of healthcare that allows us to identify the skills needed to develop robust working practices.
Based on our work in high risk multi-disciplinary teams, we have developed a competence framework that encompasses the behaviours associated with high efficiency but low risk performance.
Training is offered at 3 levels: Error management in the workplace, Supervising Risk and, finally, Shaping Safe Organizations for Board Members. As well as being able to deliver team-based training, we can offer mentoring for behavioural change where appropriate.
